1. Change Alternate UPN Suffix to domain to Office 365
    (Use Active Directory Domains & Trust)


2.Change UPN Suffix for users that need to be synchronized to Office 365

  1. Method 1: Changed by AD Users & Computers


  1. Method 2: Change all users in domain by Windows PowerShell:

    Get-ADUser –Filter * -Properties SamAccountName | foreach { Set-ADUser $_ -UserPrincipalName
    ($_.SamAccountName + “@toidilencloud.com” )}

 Method  3: Change all Users  in an OU:

          Get-ADUser -Filter * -SearchBase ‘OU=ITGuy_Grp,DC=itguy,DC=com‘ -Properties userPrincipalName |
          foreach { Set-ADUser $_ -UserPrincipalName “$($_.samaccountname)@toidilencloud.com“}

3. Use Windows Azure Active Directory Module for Windows PowerShell, connect to  Office365:
          Connect-MsolService (if you don’t have so you can install this module by this command) :

4.  User & Password for Managing the Office365

Then connectConnect-MsolService” :


  1.  Enable DirSync by this command:
    Set-MsolDirSyncEnabled -EnableDirSync $true -Force

7. Download & install Microsoft Azure Active Directory Connect (Azure AD Connect)

8. Use Azure AD Connect to synchronize user to Office 365
9. In order to synchronize immediately , open  Windows Azure AD Module for Windows PowerShell:
            Start-ADSyncSyncCycle –PolicyType Initial
